Pastor Mark was called to Mount Hermon in July 2005. Pastor Mark also currently serves as chaplain for Bedford Hospice Care and as a reserve chaplain in the U.S. Air Force. Pastor Mark earned the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree from Beeson Divinity School of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama in 2001. Pastor Mark is married to Julie (1997) and together have two children Andrew and Alexandra.

Barbara Abbott - Pianist

Barbara has attended Mount Hermon all of her life. As a child she began playing the piano for special services and then became the church pianist at the age of 12. She has been involved in the music ministry of the church for over 50 years.

Shirley Cocke - Custodian

Shirley joined Mount Hermon, her husband’s home church, in 1962. She has served God as church custodian for over 15 years, making sure that the building is clean and neat.
